A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform in version 2.0.93, available on March 9, 2017.

Updates

In this release, we:

  • Updated the question editor to show question metadata for linked questions.
  • Updated the To-do List to display activities that are past due and within their grace period even when they're set to be automatically failed when past due.

Fixed issues

In this release, we:

  • Made many updates to the Teacher and Admin apps to improve accessibility for users with a visual impairment. While many of the updates were under-the-hood, users may notice improved keyboard navigation throughout multiple tools and slight style changes to selected and focused buttons and menu options.
  • Updated Domain > Settings behavior so that users are no longer scrolled to the top of the window upon selecting a checkbox.
  • [IE 11] Fixed an issue that would cause PDF embed dialog to overlap the Select Resource dialog in some circumstances.
  • Updated the Import Standards options to reflect grade level Learning Standard restrictions created at the domain level.
  • Fixed an issue that caused graphics inserted into a course landing page, activity editor metadata, and community posts to appear out of the intended section and/or with the incorrect alignment.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the activity stream to fail to be displayed on the course home for observed enrollments.
  • Fixed an issue that would incorrectly calculate extra credit questions in the Grade Editor at times.

  • GetDueSoonList: Updated to return activities' with a status of PostDueDateZero if the duedategrace has not expired.
  • Item Data schema: A new attribute, visibility, that allows an author to determine if an item is visible to:
    • teachers
    • teachers and observers
    • students, teachers, and observers
